TT 501 Toilet Training (3AU)

Came back to hall from a busy weekend of studies yesterday night. Really disgusted at the way some people use the toilet at lvl x-2. If you are reading this and wondering what is the state my message to people living on lvl x-2 or even the whole of blk 50 sums it up:

IF YOU CAN'T AIM PROPERLY YOU MUST WELL JUST PEE ON THE FLOOR OF YOUR OWN ROOM, AT LEAST THAT WILL MINIMISE THE EXTERNALITIES ON OTHER TOILET USERS. THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO USE THE TOILET WITH GENUINE CONSIDERATIONS OF OTHER USERS.

But then again maybe someone or some group of people out there were not taught how to use the modern civilised toilet facilities. As such I've included the following links for references:

Ok firstly, just wanna clarify something.
1.)I got offered Liwei the goreng bisang multiple time.He dun want. Yes i din offer him first.
2.)Lewis they all dun have anyone to buy back and he always help me in my study in school.what's wrong with me offering them.
3.)Bro, it is only goreng bisang.
4.)I did say that they more impt. Ok, i apologize for that.
5.)I did offered X floor, but is after i offered liwei.
6.)What is "double standard yet again". Please enlightend. Thx.

oh well.. exams are always full of crap.. ppl study till too stress and all kinds of stuff will come out.. kinda angry with some indians who ask Terence to stop watching soccer after Liverpool game coz they want to study in the Tv lounge. but who cares.. we are the king of 50 and we continue to watch.. majority wins

today sio (also not his real name) bought fried banana, wanted to treat ppl to eat. although me and terence are talking outside my corridor, and aaron's door is wide open.. he did not offer us the food. Instead he went to offer his friends and also x level ppl.. after i niao-ing him.. then he offer me.. wat so good now when it is not sincerely offerred. haha.. and when he ask everyone le then still have, then he ask me again. of coz i dun want.. double standard yet again...

he end the conversation by saying that they are more important than us.. FINE!!!!

Annals of a graduating student

Its not really the time to be writing this kind of a post, but since i'm bored out of my mind studying and completing my FYP report, here goes nothing.

As of now, some of us have already taken a foot out of NTU soil (hint- he's a CS Student) and into the vast world of careers and commitments.
Some of us have already made personal commitments with various member/s of the opposite sex (or some of the same sex).
Some of us have already signed their life away to blood sucking organisations or government institutions. (read "Peanuts for Monkeys - Working in the 21st century"

So new paths have to been decided and some have already started on their journey.
At this point in time, thinking about my choices and possibilites, i'm experiencing a barrage of emotions that are unleashed partially due to the time of the night and my 3 consecutive cups of Kopi-O.

As we engage on our next stages in life, new relationships will be made and some old ones inevitably broken or forgotten. I've come to think of us hallx50-ians as a bunch of misfits that have somehow managed to weave each other into a seamless patchwork family. One with beautiful colors, intricate designs and of first-class workmanship, (1000 thread count)

Like the saying goes, old friends are like old clothes, they get more comfortable as you wear them more often. And in this 4 years, I have accumulated many old "clothes" that i have found to be utterly comfortable and unberable to discard.

I guess all i want now, is to be comforted by the fact that soon, we'll be having another bbq (hosted in honor of Felix, Terence, Graduating students and whatever reasons we can come up with), that we'll somehow be together during Dec 2008 eating turkey and fruitcake (without the roasting by the fire), that during CNY 2009 we'll be munching bagua at some poor accomodating soul's house and shouting Ban LUCK!!, and during alumni day 2009, we'll be back reminising about jasen's failed attemps at irritating patch and felicia. (god bless her furry soul)

With a little luck, maybe (just maybe), we'll soon be fighting to be each other's bestman or bridesmaids.
Or we might be calling up each other for another round of majong/soccer or golf.
Who knows, in a little more than 30 years, some of us might end up being entwined once again as family in-laws.

There's little more that needs to be said, tomorrow i'll probably end up having to face joking remarks like "eh james dun be emo leh".

So just remember to sms me and wish me happy new year and merry christmas in the years to come, be it a personal message or one of those dumb festive jokes.
Let me stay a part of your memory and funny stories that you'll tell to your new friends.

c) xueqian---he juz openingly admitted tht its him in front of mi...duh???

d) Our fav don from china---afterall, he wasnt went 2 jail or anythin...juz some counsellin sessions. Could the empire really strikes back???

Saying blk 50 guys are damn bo liao is really an understatement man...!!! Who on earth would gather at 3am in the morning and talk ghost stories for 2hours during exam period!!?? Then kanna scared-ed .....cant sleep well.....woke up next day around noon time.....

House of the Dead-Bread

In the world of the queer and strange, this bakery certainly takes the "cake". Obviously bored with making conventional pastry, they have decided to create works of art using the humble bread.



It is interesting how the same dough in different hands can turn into such gruesome, but lifelike creations. Maybe they're descended from the chinese mythological goddess, Nu Wa.

Hair Loss Problem

Well, here is something interesting that i picked up from tv today. While watching a variety show on channel 8, it was brought to my attention that eating warm cake and hot bread actually induces hair loss.. i dun know the reason behind it but this was claimed by a top chef in singapore.. he mentioned that this will cause hair loss..so to ppl out there like kevin, jasen, sio and xueqian( i hope there aint anymore), pls refrain from eating those piping hot bread and cakes...Take care...may ur hair stay with u...longer...WAHAHAHA!!!
